UK Garage legend and Dubstep pioneer, Oris Jay (aka Darqwan) has today given out three of his remixes of early-noughties pop hits. Putting his instantly-recognisable scattered percussion work on the tracks and laying a growling bassline, typical of his output as Darqwan, underneath the hooky vocals, these mixes add a darker edge whilst maintaining the ability to move any dancefloor.
Ken Evil's seminal Manchester night returns next week. Running since 2004, Bass Camp provided the growing London dubstep scene with a second home up North, giving the likes of Skream, Loefah, Pinch and more recently Truth their debut bookings in the city.
